About NYC Impressions
I'm David Alan Kilborn, a photographer and graphic designer for over four decades.
I've spent over twenty years exploring my adopted hometown of New York City and loving every day of it.
The City is endlessly fascinating. The people, the diversity, the pace of change.
And I bring my camera along.
The architecture, both contemporary and classic fascinates me. Some of the most beautiful buildings to be found anywhere and a skyline in a constant state of change.
Photography is not just about capturing a moment for me, but it's about telling a story. I strive to create images that evoke emotion and capture the essence of my subjects.
The places people meet. The crowds. The shopping. The food. The sights and sounds. The idea of never being out of earshot of another human being.
More languages are spoken in the five boroughs of New York than any other place on earth and I'm very proud of that. Our diversity is our strength and, to me, a huge part of the City's appeal.
We offer a growing line of art to display in your home or office, or on your person, and will be adding new items in the future. I'm working on a book of my work, that will be available soon.
